Entry requirements
Our contextual offer requirements to study Biology at undergraduate level are currently ABB including AB in Biology and another science related subject. Our Biomedical Science course requires ABB including B in Chemistry and B in another core science/mathematics subject. Biomedical Science students must be studying Chemistry plus one other core science/maths subject to be considered.
Our Biomedical and Biological Sciences stream offers students the chance to learn more about what it's like to study a broad range of sciences within the Faculty of Life Sciences at Bristol such as Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Medicine, and Biology. The principles we discover in the lab are put into practice so we can gain an understanding of the foundational knowledge and skills which are essential to succeed as a scientist. You will learn more about the human body and mind, its structure and function, what can go wrong and how drugs work to prevent and treat disease. The sessions on this stream will give you a deeper understanding of human health and disease and provide a greater feel for what it is like to study in this faculty at Bristol university. You will be given the opportunity to ask questions and find out about the wide variety of related career options which may be available to you within this interdisciplinary stream.
