University of Cambridge
This strand of the Sutton Trust Summer School will introduce students to University-level English Literature. Over the week, you'll attend a series of lectures, seminars, and supervisions designed to introduce both a wide range of new and exciting material and also the course here at Cambridge.
Lectures will be delivered by Faculty lecturers, and seminars will be held by experts in each field, giving students the opportunity to discuss a series of poems, plays, and novels in small groups. We will also study a Shakespeare play; a highlight of the week each year is our group trip see a theatre performance.
Participants will also have the opportunity to attend some sessions run in conjunction with the 'Education, English, Drama and the Arts' course.
