University of Cambridge
Human, Social, and Political Sciences (HSPS) is a unique degree programme only offered at the University of Cambridge that combines politics, international relations, social anthropology and sociology. Within Politics and International Relations, students investigate issues from human rights and democracy to financial crises and international conflict. In Social Anthropology, students ask ‘what it is to be human’ by studying social and cultural diversity, and they consider how people live, think and relate to each other around the world. Sociology asks questions about the nature of society and the processes that shape social life, by examining social institutions and topics such as power and inequality. In this summer school, you will get the chance to explore each of the subjects within the HSPS programme, and come away with an idea of what studying this exciting course at Cambridge is like.
