University of St Andrews
The study of history – the recovery and analysis of the full range of human activity over time – is rewarding as it is challenging. Having historical awareness of past cultures and civilisations help us recognise that our own cultural and social values are not the only ones that people have lived with. The Summer School also allows you to explore Classics: the study of ancient Greek and the Roman world. Studying History and Classics at the Summer School will give you the opportunity to explore the various aspects of both History and Classics taught at The University of St Andrews. Through lectures and practical workshops led by academic staff you will get sense of what it would be like to study History and Classics at degree level.
This an Option 2 subject. You can choose one subject from Option 1 and Option 2. You cannot choose Medicine as both options.
