Entry requirements
You should have a National 5 or a GCSE in English and Mathematics.
You should be studying English at Higher, A-Level or equivalent.
Studying English at University develops techniques that enable you to read with close attention and to consider the ideas, human values, and historical forces that have helped to form our literature. During the Summer School, you will explore various aspects of English taught at The University of St Andrews. Through lectures and practical workshops led by academic staff you will get a sense of what it would be like to study English at degree level.
This is an Option 1 subject. You can choose one subject from Option 1 and Option 2. You cannot choose Medicine as both options.
