Art History is an intellectually stimulating discipline embracing the aspects of economic, social and political history, languages and literature, philosophy, psychology and many other subject areas. At the University of St Andrews, students studying Art History now use their knowledge and skills in a great variety of careers – in the law, media and retail sectors (among others) and in subject-specific areas such as art gallery and museum work, publishing and the art trade, heritage management and conservation, art therapy and teaching. At the summer school, you will able to explore lectures and practical classes from academic staff currently ranked number 1 in the UK for Art History and learn all about what it would be like to study Art History at degree level.
This an Option 2 subject. You can choose one subject from Option 1 and Option 2. You cannot choose Medicine as both options.
