An introduction to the study of Physics at University. This will include chance to undertake problem-solving, using your physics and mathematics knowledge, project work in the laboratories, and the opportunity to experience some lectures from academic staff, highlighting topics at the cutting-edge of physics, which in the past has ranged from Astronomy through Nanotechnology to CERN. Students will also have the opportunity to network with current lecturers and PhD students within the Department.
