Durham University
The summer school programme that you will participate in hopes to allow you to experience first-hand the joy and wonder of gaining knowledge through studying things in a logical way using quantitative measurements. After a range of lectures about everything from Astronomy to Nanotechnology, previous students have tackled some advanced Physics problems, which they then presented back to the class at the end of the week. Students will also have the opportunity to network with current lecturers and PhD students within the Department.
