Design engineers bridge the gap between traditional engineering and innovative design to help find creative solutions to global problems. During this summer school, you will have the opportunity to step into the shoes of a Design Engineer, exploring creative solutions to a variety of engineering challenges. Attendees will be introduced to key principles, such as design and ideation, rapid prototyping and technical application, alongside important considerations such as human factors and sustainability. Hear from our academic staff and students about what it is like to study Design Engineering at Imperial College and learn about the breadth of engineering disciplines encompassed by our Design Engineering degree programme, from computing, electronics and mechanics to sustainable and human-centred design engineering.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Have achieved a minimum of eight GCSEs with at least five at grades 7-9, including maths and sciences. Have achieved a minimum of grade 5 in GCSE English Language.
