Earth Sciences at The University of St Andrews spans topics from the current climate change to the formation of the planets, integrating chemistry, physics and biology to understand the world around us. Studying Earth Sciences will equip you with an understanding of natural processes, ranging from the formation of major mountain belts to modern ocean acidification, and volcanic eruptions to management of Earth’s natural resources. Studying Earth Sciences at the Summer School will give you the opportunity to explore various aspects of Earth Sciences taught at The University of St Andrews. Through lectures and practical workshops led by academic staff you will get sense of what it would be like to study Earth Sciences at degree level.
This is an Option 2 course. You must pick two subjects from Option 1 and Option 2.
