Entry requirements
You should have a National 5 or a GCSE in English and Mathematics.
You should be studying Chemistry and one other science from Biology, Mathematics or Physics at Higher, A-Level or equivalent.
Medicine is the science and practice of diagnosing, treating, and preventing illness and injury. Studying Medicine at the St Andrews summer school offers a unique opportunity to explore the diverse facets of Medicine. From the foundational principles of medical science and biology in laboratory settings to an introduction to clinical skills, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject. Through a combination of lectures and practical workshops led by esteemed academic staff, you will experience a glimpse of life as a First Year medical student and develop a deeper appreciation for the challenges and rewards of a medical career.
This is an Option 1 subject. You can choose one subject from Option 1 and Option 2. You cannot choose Medicine as both options.
