University of St Andrews
The study of Psychology answers questions such as: “how do we remember things?”; "what are the roles of inheritance and experience in determining mental abilities?”; “how do nerves transmit information?”; "how do we perceive colour?”; “why does conflict occur between social groups?”; as well as questions about pathology, like “how does brain damage affect memory?”. During the Summer School, you will explore various aspects of Psychology taught at The University of St Andrews. Through lectures and tutorials led by academic staff you will get a sense of what it would be like to study Psychology at degree level.
This is an Option 1 course. You must pick two subjects from Option 1 and Option 2.
