University of Warwick
The departments of Classics and Ancient History, Film & TV, and History of Art have collaborated to create an exciting programme based on the ancient world and how it is represented in art and modern media. You will experience what it would be like to study each of these subjects at Warwick, and see how these subjects can learn from each other. You will look at how classical themes have been taken and adapted through art and modern media; how the stories and ideas of the past have developed and still remain relevant today; and how the seemingly separate disciplines of Classics, Film & TV, and History of Art can be studied in a creatively integrated way.
30 July 2024 - 02 August 2024
