This is a highly academic course where you will be engaging with new content. You should be ready to explore new topics and be challenged throughout the week.
The week will include:
• The chance to analyse and interpret data.
• Learning through role play.
• Collaborative working.
• Museum visit.
• A taster small group supervision session.
You should apply for this subject if…
• You enjoy learning about our world and its physical and human made structures.
• You would like to better understand different cultures, climates and societies.
• You want to understand the study of both human and physical geography.
You shouldn’t apply if…
• You would prefer to focus on only either physical or human geography as this stream will include topics from both areas.
You will leave the week with:
• A better understanding of the study of physical and human geography.
• An idea of the challenges facing our planet currently, including climate change, geopolitics and development.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Have attained a minimum of GCSE grade 7 or National 5 grade B in English (Language and/or Literature). In addition, students must also currently be studying Geography at A Level, IB, Scottish Higher or equivalent.
