This is a highly academic course where you will be engaging with new content. You should be ready to explore new topics and be challenged throughout the week.
The week will include:
• Taster lectures and discussion sessions a wide variety of legal subjects and problems; previous examples have included criminal law, constitutional law and property law.
• Discussions with Directors of Studies with the opportunity to ask questions.
• An introduction to Cambridge style teaching which is collaborative includes lots of discussion.
• The chance to take part in a mock trial.
• Workshops with city law firms and chambers
You should apply for this subject if…
• You are interested in learning about different ways of thinking about law, morality and society.
• You are interested in what studying law as an undergraduate student would be like.
You shouldn’t apply if…
• You are not interested in taking part in self-directed learning.
• You are not interested in taking part in a mock trial.
You will leave the week with:
• Having experienced a wide range of introductory sessions on a variety of legal topics.
• A better understand of the application process for applying to an undergraduate Law course.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Have attained a minimum of GCSE grade 7 or National 5 grade B in English (Language and/or Literature).
