Durham University
Studying Sport and Exercise Sciences involves engaging with contemporary issues and subjects ranging from the development of elite athletes to encouraging participation amongst young people for the first time. The rare capacity of sport to touch our lives means that it is used positively to address issues such as obesity, crime and community development, while also reflecting societal problems such as drug abuse and inequality. During the summer school students will have the opportunity to study challenges found within this varied discipline. Students will also have the opportunity to network with current lecturers and PhD students within the Department.
