Durham University
Studying Politics at university is all about asking questions regarding the political and social world around us and uncovering answers through independent and group research. The Sutton Trust programme will give a taste of what this is like by engaging participants in the type of questions addressed by first year undergraduates. As well as attending lectures and seminars given by academic staff, participants will develop some of the key skills necessary for undergraduate study by analysing significant texts, participating in debates and using a range of excellent resources to complete a research task. Students will also have the opportunity to network with current lecturers and PhD students within the Department.
