The week will include:
• Site visits.

• Hands on skill development (especially model-making and drawing).
• The development of your own mini-design.
• Problem solving.
• Application and portfolio creation guidance.
• Academic sessions with subject experts.

You should apply for this subject if…
• You enjoy studying the built environment from a range of perspectives, including its history and its technical realisation.
• You have an interest in understanding how architecture involves the development of abstract ideas into tangible forms.
• You would like the chance to experience working in a design studio.
• You enjoy coming up with creative and innovative solutions to real life problems.
• You would enjoy working with different types of materials using different techniques.
