In the Department of Computer Science and Technology we study and develop the ideas and innovations that make modern computing possible. There is a vast range of topics within computer science, and rapid progress occurring in almost all of them. In the Computing Summer School, we will focus on some core principles of computer science, including algorithms and problem solving, as well as computer programming. We will also expose you to a broad range of topics within the subject through a series of explanatory and practical sessions. No prior knowledge of Computer Science is required; basic programming experience would be useful but is also not necessary.
