Studying in Scotland's capital city, you will be at the heart of Edinburgh's legal centre with the highest courts in Scotland just minutes away. While the programme is grounded in Scots law, you will develop your skills and knowledge in the academic and practical sides of various law practices. Throughout the summer school, you will work with world-leading academics, professionals and current students to advance your knowledge through lectures, tutorial discussions, and fascinating group project work. You might even get to don legal robes and try out your new skills during a mock trial in our very own moot court room! Previous summer school topics include social media law, tax law (debating the nature of Jaffa Cakes and flapjacks!), medical law and ethics, environmental law, commercial law, and mental health law.
