University of Glasgow
Our Common Law stream is new for 2023. On this course, you’ll work with leading academics, attending lectures, tutorials and workshops to give you a taste of some of the subjects you will study as a first-year law student at the University of Glasgow. Students will take part in a moot and work in our mock courtroom, leaving with a good understanding of what to expect from studying a law degree.
The study of law at the University of Glasgow dates back to 1451, the year the university was founded. More recently, the University of Glasgow’s Law course was ranked 5th in the UK in the 2023 Guardian University Guide.
Please be aware that this stream is for students who wish to study Common Law to practice in England, Wales or Northern Ireland and will not be relevant for students wishing to study Scots Law.
