Our Medical Studies course gives you a unique opportunity to combine Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry studies in one week. Bringing together internationally renowned experts, you will experience our innovative teaching and hear about world-leading research.
You will learn all about our Medical School, study in our award-winning Wolfson Medical Building which houses a Clinical Skills area complete with fully equipped ward. You will meet academic staff who are actively working as consultants in the medical field. The Medicine course at the University of Glasgow was ranked 3rd in the UK in the Complete University Guide for 2023.
You will meet staff and students from the UK’s second largest Dental School and you will be able to ask any questions you have about being a first-year Dentistry student. You may be able to visit the Dental Hospital in the city centre of Glasgow. The University of Glasgow was ranked 1st for Dentistry in the UK in the Guardian University Guide for 2023.
You will also visit our Internationally accredited School of Veterinary Medicine at our Garscube campus which includes our Small Animal Hospital, Weipers Centre Equine Hospital and the Scottish Centre for Production Animal Health and Welfare. Our veterinary staff are experts in their field and students will leave with an understanding of what it is like to study Veterinary Medicine at the University of Glasgow. The Guardian University Guide for 2023 ranked the University of Glasgow at no. 4 in the UK for Veterinary Science.
